Dr. Peter Farnbach

Dr. Farnbach is a psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Farnbach completed his medical education in Brisbane and his psychiatry training at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne.

Dr. Farnbach has extensive experience in general psychiatry, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and biofeedback. Dr. Farnbach has served as a principal investigator for over forty multi-site international studies on new and innovative treatments for depression, anxiety, and Alzheimer's disease.

Since 2015, Dr. Farnbach has focused primarily on minimally invasive neurostimulation techniques, especially transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and direct current stimulation (tDCS). Dr. Farnbach established the TMS treatment units at Epworth and South East Private hospitals in Melbourne.
